KARACHI, May 15: Three days of chaos in the city and sudden announcement by the Sindh government about public holidays resulted in postponement of exams in many universities.

Institutes that spent thousands of rupees on the preparation would now be compelled to rearrange for it.

According to the new schedule, the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology will hold exams from May 16. The University of Karachi has announced that the papers dated for May 16 have been cancelled and the expected date would be announced soon. Karachi University has also extended the date for admission to the CSS and English Language courses till May 19.

Similarly, Sindh Board of Technical Education has revised the dates and notified that now its exams would be held on May 19, 22, and 29 respectively. While Dow Medical College has rescheduled its practical and viva voce for MBBS annual examinations on May 17, 18 and 19.
