KARACHI, May 14: The laying of main sewerage line from Malir River to Azimpura is fast progressing at a cost of Rs9.5 million. After installation of this line, the sewerage system in the vast areas of UCs 4, 5 and 6 of Shah Faisal Town would improve, said Shah Faisal Town Nazim Mohammed Imran while inspecting the ongoing development works during a visit on Monday.

Town Nazim said an unending journey of prosperity had started and the development works were being carried out in areas, which were ignored for years, without any discrimination. He said this was testimony to the practical steps taken by the Haq Parast leadership.

On the directive of Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain, he said the Haq Parast representatives are were engaged in providing basic facilities to the people in every street and locality of the city.

While inspecting the sewerage line laying works, Mohammed Imran called for its early completion and told the people that it would bring improvement in sewerage system of Green Town, Punjab Town, Golden Town and adjoining vast areas besides rectifying the storm water drainage system.—APP
