KARAK, May 13: A meeting of the Khattak Ittehad, a non-political organisation of Karak district, has declared May 20 as the deadline for the government to start supplying natural gas to the district from the Gurguri gasfield.

If the deadline was not met the Khattak Ittehad won’t allow oil companies to continue oil and gas exploration and ex- traction activities in the area, said its statement. MNA Maulana Shah Abdul Aziz and MPA Mian Nisar Gul Kakakhel attended the meeting.—Correspondent
