QUETTA, May 5: The Baloch Students Organisation has accused police of opening fire on and baton-charging students of the Balochistan University and demanded separate allotment of hostels for Bloach and other students.

The BSO claimed that eight students suffered injuries in the in the incident and arrested 13 university students.

Speaking at a press conference at the local press club on Saturday, Changezi Khan Baloch, vice-chairman of BSO, alleged that the vice-chancellor has closed the doors of the university for Baloch students.

He said that a delegation of BSO members met the vice-chancellor on Saturday morning and apprised him of the problems faced by the Baloch students.
