LAHORE, May 5: The transmission of two private TV channels got disrupted for several hours in some parts of the city on Saturday. Sources said apparently the suspension of transmission was linked with the channels’ full coverage to the caravan of the chief justice of Pakistan heading towards Lahore.

The transmission of ARY and AAJ channels were suspended in Cantonment, parts of Iqbal Town, Misri Shah, Shadbagh and Shahdara. A Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority official claimed the authority had not ordered suspension of the transmission. —Staff Reporter
