HYDERABAD, May 5: Four workers belonging to the same family died and four others injured when a gravel-laden truck overturned near Tando Allahyar on Friday night. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Saleem s/o Mohammad Yasin; Ahsan s/o Yasin; Deedar s/o Allah Dino; and Imran s/o of Allah Dino, all residents of Muzaffargarh.

Injured included Rizwan 15, Hassan 10, Kausar Abbas 10, Ghulam Shabbir 30. According to Edhi volunteer all the injured were brought to the Civil Hospital.

They had come from Muzaffargarh to work in an orchard during mango season and had boarded the truck to reach Mirpurkhas due to the shortage of vehicles on roads as transport was not available for past several days in various districts.

The vehicles were seized in connection with the President's public meeting in Naukot.
