MANSEHRA, May 2: At least 10 army soldiers were injured when their vehicle fell into a deep ravine near Kotli, about 50kms from Mansehra, on Wednesday, police said.

Three of the injured were in critical condition. Police said that a Mashabaroome company coach (GLT-6006) carrying 25 Pakistan Army soldiers was on its way from Skardu to Rawalpindi. The driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a sharp turn near Kotli, allowing it to fall into the ravine, police added.

The injured were taken to the Shinkiary Rural Health Center and Mansehra District Headquarters Hospital. Later, the three men with critical injuries were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital in Abbottabad. The soldiers belong to unit 22 of the Sindh regiment.
