LAHORE, April 29: Jamaat-i-Islami MNA Farid Piracha says the MMA has moved a private bill in the National Assembly which seeks stringent punishment for those depriving the people of their freedom.
In a press statement here on Sunday, he said the MMA had moved the bill taking notice of missing persons who were apparently abducted by certain intelligence agencies. He said the bill had been drafted in consultation with senior jurists in the light of certain guiding principles as laid down by the Supreme Court.
