Recruitment cancelled

MULTAN, April 29: Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi has cancelled irregular recruitment made recently at the Nishtar medical college and hospital.

According to a letter of the health ministry issued on April 28, “The competent authority, in accordance with powers vested in him under clause 17 (iv) of the Recruitment Policy 2004, has scrapped the recruitment process at Nishtar medical college and allowed to re-advertise the posts vide Chief Minister’s Secretariat diary No 32474 dated April 9, 2007.”

The ministry has directed the Nishtar’s special selection board principal/chairman to immediately re-advertise the posts and carry out the recruitment process strictly under the provisions of Recruitment Policy 2004 and Contract Appointment Policy circulated by the S&GAD. —APP
