QUETTA, April 29: The Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party will alert office-bearers at its central congress here on May 27.

This was stated by PMAP secretary-general Akram Shah at a press conference at the press club on Sunday. He said that the PMAP was a democratic party and all office-bearers from basic units to central level were chosen in a democratic manner.

He said his party was struggling for national rights, democratic rule, social justice and progress and maintained that to achieve these objectives the party had been cooperating with other political and democratic parties for the supremacy of the parliament.

He said the election process of the Northern Pakhtunkhwa (NWFP chapter) was completed on January 26 and in Sindh a conference was held on March 5. He said that provincial conference of the Southern Pakhtunkhwa chapter would be held on May 26.

Responding to a question, he said several committees had been formed and assigned tasks to make the central congress successful.
