Water connections

Published April 28, 2007

MULTAN, April 27: The City District Government Multan has decided to disconnect water connections of all those consumers who fail to pay their dues.

City District Nazim Mian Faisal Mukhtar said this while presiding over a meeting held here on Friday.

The city district nazim directed Wasa officials to pin point all streets and roads where water stagnated owing to rain or blockade of sewerage lines within three days so that a comprehensive plan could be devised to redress the problem.

He warned the sub-engineers that they would be suspended from the service if they fell down on the job of timely removing the stagnant water in their respective areas. — Correspondent
