NAWABSHAH, April 27: Dozens of inmates of the Nawabshah Central Jail burnt their clothes and bedding and staged a demonstration in the jail premises on Friday to protest against police failure to take them to court for hearing of their case.
About 43 prisoners were scheduled to be taken to the district and sessions court for hearing in different cases on Friday but police van did not reach the prison to take them to the court.—Correspondent
