KARACHI, April 21: The Sindh Employees’ Social Security Institution Commissioner Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi has said all available resources were being utilised to provide best possible medical and other facilities to the secured employees.

During his meeting with a delegation of All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association at his office on Saturday, Hashim Raza said the minister of labour, transport, industries, commerce and cooperation, who is also chairman of Sessi’s governing body, was taking keen interest to solve problems of the employees.

He briefed the delegation about medical facilities, cash benefits and self-assessment schemes of the social security. They also discussed issues regarding employees and employers. Assuring his full cooperation to the association, he said as a result of the efforts being made by the provincial industries minister, environment would be made pleasant for the workers associated with industries.

The delegates, who were led by Chairman Abdul Wahab Lakhani, appreciated the efforts being made for creating congenial environment for labourers in the factories. They also hailed services of the commissioner to provide medical and other facilities to the secured employees.
