KARACHI, April 20: The Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) will hold a major event at the newly established international-standard DHA Night Golf Course in the next few months, Secretary PGF Taimur Hassan said here on Friday.

Taimur, along with Secretary Sindh Golf Association (SGA) Asad I. A. Khan, inspected the newly added facility at the DHA Golf Course and met the club’s Secretary, Brig Ghulam Nabi.

The DHA Golf Club has been renovated and upgraded by a Malaysian company which has also installed the country’s first Night Golf Course.

The PGF secretary expressed the desire to hold the first-ever golf event quickly which included participation of PGF Chief Lt. Gen. Ashfaq Pervez Kiani.

Asad said there is a plan to hold an exclusive event for ladies and veterans next month, to be conducted and sponsored by the provincial body.

He said a new training session at the Night Golf Course will be held shortly under the supervision of Italian coach Donatto. —Agencies
