GUJARANWALA, April 20: Double Shah told Dawn outside the court on Friday he would return money to his depositors within one month if he was released.

He said he feared his clients would lose their deposits due to agencies and police intervention in his scheme.

He said he would not flee from the country as “it is my motherland”.

He said law enforcement agencies and police could enlist his name on the exit control list or deploy security men outside his house.

He said police and agencies had seized his almost all of his bank accounts and assets besides cash in hand. He denied that he had got prepared his two passports.
