TOBA TEK SINGH, April 18: The district bar association on Wednesday cancelled the memberships of another three lawyers for attending a ruling party lawyers’ convention in Lahore. The fresh victims are: Nadeem Akbar Mangat, Chaudhry Zahoor Ahmad and Saifullah Bajwa.
Earlier, the memberships of eight lawyers had been cancelled on the same charge.
The DBA general-body meeting, however, accepted the apology of Mian Shahid Akram and allowed him to continue as bar member.
