Al-Noor Gymkhana beat Hamdam CC

KARACHI, April 17: Naved Khan and Akber Khan hit contrasting centuries as Al-Noor Gymkhana thrashed Hamdam Cricket Club by eight wickets in the Karachi Region National Inter Club Cricket Championship at the PCB Academy Ground here on Tuesday.

Akber blasted an unbeaten 132 off 123 balls with ten fours and three sixes while opener Naved cracked six boundaries in his 106 off 117 balls while adding 215 with Akber for the second wicket.

Earlier, Hamdam CC, batting first, made 254-7 off their 50 overs. Farrukh Rizvi slammed 111 off 137 deliveries including nine hits to the boundary and five over it. Off-spinner Akber Rehman was the best among Al-Noor Gymkhana bowlers, claiming 4-55 off his nine overs.
