NBP thrash Oman Juniors 10-1

KARACHI, April 17: Four-goal Haseem Khan guided National Bank (NBP) to a thumping 10-1 victory over Oman under-21 in their opening friendly match at Hockey Club of Pakistan on Tuesday.

Mohsin Zafar opened NBP's account in the sixth minute before Oman got their solitary goal through Adil Mubarak Salim Al Jaradi in the 20th minute.

Haseem slammed home his first three minutes into second session followed by Mohammad Anis goal two minutes later. Haseem again came into action a minute later, while Asif Khan made it 5-1 in the 50th minute.

Owais Moeed struck in the 56th minute, Haseem slotted home his second two minutes later, while Mohsin found the cage for his second a minute later. Mohsin netted his third in the 63rd minute before Haseem wrapped up with his fourth three minutes later.

The tour party will play second game on Wednesday against Karachi at UBL Sports Complex.
