KARACHI, April 17: Participants of a training seminar were introduced with latest technologies and methods of manufacturing and producing power and safety valves.

The seminar, first of its kind in the country, was organised by the Industrial Development and Engineering Associates (IDEA), in collaboration with the Tyco Valves and Controls at a local hotel on Tuesday for training industry people, engineers and key officials.

Tyco official Mr Philippe Claeys from Belgium presented keynote presentation and highlighted salient features of the latest technology currently being used the world over by the manufacturers in the best cost-effective way without compromising the quality.

Other foreign officials, Arnold Bremann from Germany and Mr Andy Hoxley from the UK, also made their presentations which were designed to give the industry professionals and engineers an overview of new procedures and technology being employed in the power and safety valves industry.
