KARACHI, April 17: Three vessels carrying containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where only two ships, Amasis and Gulf Bridge to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of half a dozen.

The ships, which departed included Corin Thaikos, Mol Ability, Jade Trader, Gallant Wave, Basle Prestige, and Pontonikis, while Amasis, Gulf Bridge, Viking Merlin and Mol Silver Fern are due to sail out on Wednesday.A total tonnage of 85,385 tons comprising 16,212 tons exports including 5,354 tons of cement and 973 tons of wheat and 69,173 tons of import cargo was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships namely Hyundai Future, Y.M.Sun and Oel Esteem, with containers are due on Wednesday.
