Hissam guides team to victory

LAHORE, April 13: Five-goal Hissam Ali Hyder helped MCB beat Diamond Paints 8-3 to enter final of Teka Polo Cup on Friday. Hissam also scored a hat trick by scoring three goals in the second chukker. He was ably supported by Shah Shamyl Alam (2) and Babar Monnoo (1) to complete the tally. For the losers, Atif Yar Tiwana scored all three.

Earlier, Ittefaq entered the subsidiary final defeating Blu Mediaworks.net 7-5.

For the winners, Raja Samiullah (3), Taimur Mawaz (3) and Umar Farooq (1) were the scorers. For the losers, Bilal Haye and Abdul Haseeb Mehta struck two goals each while Samir Malik chipped in with a goal.
