LAHORE, April 11: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on Wednesday inked an agreement with Engro Chemicals Pakistan for supply of 100 million cubic feet per day.

The firm has set up a fertliser plant at Daharki (Sindh) with a manufacturing capacity of 1.3 million tons. The SNGPL would provide gas to the plant from Qadirpur gas field. The plant is expected to start production by 2010.

Mr. Rashid Lone, managing director, SNGPL, and Mr Khalid Subhani, senior vice-president of Engro Chemicals signed the agreement on behalf of their respective orgnisations.
