KOHAT, April 9: A man shot dead his son after a brief but heated argument in the Upper Ustarzai town on Sunday night. The deceased — identified as Ishtiaq, 22 — was stated to be a drug addict.
According to the police report filed by his mother, her son was beaten up by his father when he turned up late on Sunday. He was irritated by his son’s bad habits.
When Ishtiaq angrily retorted to whatever his father had to say, he got infuriated and shot him dead in a fit of anger. The police have arrested the accused.
