SHEIKHUPURA, April 7: Four unidentified men allegedly abducted a local industrialist and two foreigners on GT Road and thereafter released the latter here on Saturday in Saddar Muridke police limits.

Reports said industrialist Sheikh Najibullah along with his two foreign guests was going to a factory near Muridke by a Pajero jeep when the accused intercepted the vehicle. Two of them boarded the jeep and asked the driver to move towards Kot Pindi Das Road.

Near village Kot Pindi Das, the accused released the foreigners and left the vehicle. They bundled Najibullah into their car and fled.

In another incident, three dacoits made off with cash and valuables from Majeed near Shanke Bhattian on GT Road. Ferozewala police are looking into the matter.

ACCIDENT: A youth, Shahid Iqbal, was run over and killed by a speeding truck opposite Muridke THQ hospital on Saturday.
