Paramedics observe strike

HYDERABAD, April 7: Paramedics observed tool-down strike in different hospitals of the district on Saturday in protest against what they called excesses being committed against them by the health department. Their protest coincided with the World Health Day.

They demanded cancellation of appointments made on political grounds and recruitments in their place by the sons of retired or deceased paramedics.

Paramedics from Jamshoro, Paretabad, Qasimabad, Lady Dufferin Bhittai also joined the rally.
