SKA names 18-member team

KARACHI, April 6: The Sindh Karate Association (SKA) president Wasim Hashmi on Friday announced an 18-member men and women karate team for the 30th National Games.

Squad:

Men: Abid Ali (50 kg), Tariq Ali (55 kg), Murtuza Idrees (60 kg), Irfanullah (66 kg), Mohammad Asif (73 kg), Imran Ahmed (81 kg), Mohammad Varyam (90 kg), Noor Mohammad (90 kg), Kamran (100 plus), Mohammad Sabir (open weight).

Women: Minza Javed (40 kg), Saeeda Asra (44 kg), Sundas (48 kg), Hafsa Sardar (52 kg), Rizwana (57 kg), Saba (63 kg), Mediha Hameed (70 kg), Najma Hamid (open weight).

Mohammad Rafiq (coach), Zulfiqar Ali (manager), Afroz Chouhan (manager), Ayesha Tasneef (coach).

Wasim Hashmi also named Shariq Ali, Saeed Alam, Peer Mohammad, Shahid Ansari, Ijaz Buledi, Mohammad Anis (men); and Ana Farshad, Safa Salam, Uzma Ahmed, Saeeda Bano (women) as technical officials.—APP
