KARACHI, April 4: International spiker Mazharuddin Memon will spearhead hosts Sindh in the 30th National Games volleyball competition which will be held at the KPT Sports Complex from April 9 to 14.

The team was named by secretary, Sindh Volleyball Association, Shoaib Usmani, on Wednesday at the conclusion of trials. Besides the hosts, teams from Army, Police, Wapda, PAF and NWFP are to vie for honours in the contest.

Team: Mazharuddin Memon (captain), Mohammad Ali (vice captain), Azharuddin, Mohammad Tufail, Wajid Ali Lashari, Mohsin Ali, M. Aqeel, Sibte Ali, Shehryar Khan, Ejaz Langah, Naeem Izzat and Nomanul Islam. Stand byes: Shakil Ahmed and Mohammad Obaid.

Officials: Noorul Hasan (manager), Noor Hasan Baloch (assistant manager), Faheem Haider (coach), M. Ishaq (assistant coach).
