JACOBABAD, April 2: Scores of people belonging to Hindu community staged rallies for the second day running on Monday against the kidnap of an eight-year-old boy Om Prakash 17 days ago.

The rally started from Hindu Panchayat hall and reached Sarafa Bazaar after marching on different roads of the city. The participants observed a token hunger strike for two hours in the bazaar.

Leaders Manohar Lal Chawla, Srichand Bhawnani, Harpal Das, Ahmed Ali Brohi, Dr A. G. Ansari and Panjoo Ram were among those who took part ion the token hunger strike.

KILLED: Armed motorcyclists shot dead a man on the Shahi Bridge in Kashmore reportedly over an old disputed involving marriage on Monday.

Reports reaching here said that four motorcyclists stopped Bakht Ali Banglani on the bridge and shot him dead. Police moved the body to Kashmore hospital for autopsy. Late Bakht Ali’s son lodged an FIR against Adam, Wasand, Hassan and Manzoor.
