NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 2: Kiln workers continued their token hunger strike outside the press club on third consecutive day on Monday. Organisers of the Kiln Labour Union Sindh chapter, Khalil Rind and Younus Rahu took out a rally from the Allahwala chowk which after marching on Padidan road reached the press club, where they observed a token hunger strike for four hours.
They told the reporters that the work at kilns was closed since the last three days. They complained that neither owners nor the administration have approached them, as yet.
The protesters warned of extending their protest on Sindh level. Younus Rahu said the labour party was supporting the kiln workers struggle.
Activists of Sindh Sagar Party, Food Workers Union, Sindhi Shagird Tahreek and others joined the protesters.
