KARACHI, April 2: Four ships to load and offload containers, wheat and chemicals were accommodated berths at QICT and MPT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday. Meanwhile, four ships carrying containers and carbon oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was managed at 60pc as six ships, Palermo, Carina, Yick Zao, Shujaa, Afamia and Yanaseni, were buys in loading and unloading containers, wheat, cement and chemicals.

A cargo volume of 59,072 tons comprising 26,743 tons of import and 32,329 tons of export tonnage was handled.Sailing was slow as only Palermo left the port while Carina was expected to depart.
