KARACHI, March 31: Berthing was slow as only one container ship, CSAV Ningbo, was allotted berth at QICT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Meanwhile, another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage. Four ships were busy in loading and unloading containers, wheat, cement and coke.

A cargo volume of 44,234 tons comprising 21,756 tons of import and 22,478 tons of export tonnage was handled.

CSAV Ningbo was due to leave the port, while Xiang Wan and Shuja were expected to take berths.
