PESHAWAR, March 28: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 16 proclaimed offenders who were wanted in cases involving murder, attempted murder, theft and kidnapping for ransom. According to police, arms and ammunition recovered from the possession of the arrested people included one Kalashnikov, a rifle, two shotguns and 17 pistols. Police also seized charas, opium and wine from narcotics dealers during the crackdown.—APP
