KARACHI: Gang busted

KARACHI, March 28: A special team of the Anti-Dacoity and Robbery Cell smashed on Wednesday a gang involved in street crime and arrested its three members. Officials said the special team, formed on the directives of ADRC chief SSP Sanaullah Abbasi, also seized three unlicensed pistols and 25 cellular phones the suspected muggers had snatched from people in different parts of the city.

They said the gang had 12 members and efforts were being made to track down the remaining gangsters.

The suspects, identified as Rizwan, Khalid and Kamran, were arrested near Empress Market, Saddar.
