QUETTA, March 26: Deputy leader of National Party in the Balochistan Assembly Jan Muhammad Buledi has criticised the postponement of polls for tehsil nazim of Buleda and demanded that the elections be held without delay. In statement faxed to Dawn from Turbat on Monday, the opposition leader claimed that the elections were postponed for an indefinite period by the election commission officials at the behest of the provincial government. Mr Buledi said the polls were not postponed because of the law and order situation but because the candidate supported by the provincial government faced defeat in it.
