KARACHI: Science exhibition

KARACHI, March 25: Thirty-five schools participated in the 5th All-Karachi Inter-School Science Exhibition organised by the Educational World, North Nazimabad campus.

Chief guest of the inaugural ceremony was IT Adviser Noman Saigal. Irfan Sheikh, Director Marketing & Sales of M/s Hino Pak Motors and Huma Bukhari, Co-chairperson of Newport Institute were guests of honour. Nighat Jawed, District Governor of the Lions Clubs International presided over the function.

It was interesting to note that children as young as seven years old are not only participating but also briefing visitors about their projects.

The contest would be held in two categories – junior and senior – and four winners in each category would be selected.

First three position holders would be awarded cash prizes of Rs10,000, 5,000 and 3,000 respectively.—Our Reporter
