ISLAMABAD, March 22: The 67th Pakistan Day will be celebrated across the country on Friday with the pledge to make national defence insurmountable. The major event of the day will be the joint services parade at Jinnah Stadium here. Thursday’s rehearsal for the event included a fly-past by various fighter and trainer aircraft of PAF.

JF-17 Thunder, the first aircraft manufactured by Pakistan in collaboration with China, took part in the fly-past, besides F-16, Mirage, K-8 and Mashak. Columns of infantry, Frontier Corps, Sindh police, Armed Forces Nursing Service, contingents of the Army Strategic Force Command, Army Heritage Foundation and the president’s bodyguards marched past the dais.
