Royal Academy clinch title

KARACHI, March 22: Bilal Mohiuddin displayed a superb all-round show as Royal Academy claimed the PSCB Inter School cricket tournament title, outclassing GBSS Metroville by 68 runs in the final at the National Stadium here on Thursday.

Bilal made a defiant 86 including five boundaries and a six as the winners, batting first, posted 189-9 in the allotted 45 overs. Spinners Fawad Khan and Zia Rehman took three and two wickets respectively for the GBSS Metroville.

Defending their small target, the Royal Academy bowlers bowled GBSS Metroville out for only 121 in 33 overs. Left-arm spinners Ali Hasan (4-22) and Farhad Mirza (3-11) were among the wickets.

Bilal was later declared Man of the Final.
