PESHAWAR, March 22: The NWFP information technology department will launch “Online chat with Minister” programme next week. Besides replying to complaints, the ministers will highlight the welfare agenda of the government on official website www.nwfp.govt.pk.

The first guest of the programme will be Tourism and Culture Minister Hussain Ahmad Kanju.

This was announced by Mr Kanju at a meeting here on Thursday.

IT secretary Amjad Shahid Afridi also attended the meeting.

As per the programme, one minister will be invited every week.

If the minister has more than one portfolio, he will be invited in other programmes.

The IT minister directed the authorities concerned to arrange online chat for the chief minister and the NWFP governor for direct contact with the people so that their problems could be resolved.—PPI
