ISLAMABAD, March 22: President General Pervez Musharraf has conferred operational and non-operational military awards on officers and men of the armed forces. According to a Gazette Notification issued on Thursday by the Ministry of Defence, there are three women among the recipients this year, including Maj-Gen Shahida Badshah (Hilal-i-Imtiaz), Brig Simeen Ber Rahman of the Army Medical Corps (Sitara-i-Imtiaz) and Maj Khalida Rafiq of the Armed Forces Nursing Services (Tamgha-i-Imtiaz).
