PCB chief resigns

KARACHI: Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Dr Naseem Ashraf, tendered his resignation to President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Monday evening. It has been learnt that Dr Ashraf, who is in the interior of Sindh, faxed his resignation to the presidency. A decision on the issue will be taken on Tuesday by the president, who is the patron-in-chief of PCB. However, till the filing of this report Dr Ashraf could not be reached for his comments.
