Salman inspires NBP

LAHORE, March 19: A fine knock by Test opener Salman Butt enabled National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) score a four-wicket win over defending champions Habib Bank Limited (HBL) in ABN-Amro One-day Patron's Cup at the Gaddafi Stadium on Monday.

Salman hit 156-ball 83 with 11 boundaries as NBP romped home by making 181 for six in 47.2 overs in response to 179 scored by HBL.
