KARACHI: KU extends admission date

KARACHI, March 16: The University of Karachi on Friday announced the extension in the last date for admission of BA, BSc and BCom first year classes up to March 24. According to a KU notification, a late fee of Rs1,000 shall be deposited with the condition that admitted students shall have to complete the requisite attendance by end of the session under the varsity rules. No admission list/pay order will be accepted in any case after March 29.

Principals of all affiliated degree colleges in Arts/Science/ Commerce are requested to forward the pay orders of late fee in favour of the University of Karachi with three copies of admission lists to the registrar latest by March 29.

A copy of admission list may also be forwarded to the KU enrolment section. The admissions may be given strictly according to allocated numbers of seats already fixed by the affiliation committee, University of Karachi for each course/subject.—Staff Reporter
