KARACHI, March 14: Representatives of various political parties and rights groups forming ‘Stop the War Coalition’ on Wednesday finalised the arrangements for an anti-war demonstration on March 19 on the fourth anniversary of the US-led coalition forces attack on Iraq.

The participants in a meeting held at the Bacha Khan Markaz, the headquarters of the Awami National Party in Sindh, decided that apart from expressing solidarity with the people of Iraq, the participants in the demonstration would also protest against the US-led attack on Afghanistan, military operations in Waziristan and Balochistan and enforced disappearance of hundreds of people from Sindh and Balochistan.

ANP’s joint secretary Amin Khattak presided over the meeting while representatives of Pakistan Democratic Party, International Socialist, Peoples Labour Bureau, All Pakistan Alliance for Katchi Abadis and Jeay Sindh Mahaz attended the meeting.
