LAHORE, March 10: The Punjab Bar Council (PBC) on Saturday cancelled the licence of lawyer Naeem Bokhari. Speaking at a press conference, PBC vice-chairman Tariq Javaid Warraich said the decision was taken at a meeting of the council held here.

The PBC, Lahore Bar Association (LBA) and other lawyers’ bodies gathered here on Saturday to protest the president’s action against Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry. They termed Mr Bokhari a “tool of the establishment”.
