Qazi calls opposition meeting

ISLAMABAD, March 10: Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal’s (MMA) president Qazi Hussain Ahmed on Saturday announced the convening of another multi-party conference in the capital on Monday (tomorrow) to devise a strategy to overcome what he termed was the judicial crisis created by the unconstitutional and illegal act of a military ruler. The conference will discuss the potential judicial crisis that has emerged because of the suspension of Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. Qazi Hussain said that he had invited heads of all parties.
