Dollar mixed

LONDON, March 9: The dollar showed mixed fortunes against the euro and yen on Friday as the market awaited publication of key US jobs data for February.

The euro rose to $1.3149 in late European trading, from $1.3131 late in New York on Thursday.

The dollar stood at 117.48 yen, from 117.14 yen late on Thursday.

The euro was changing hands at 1.3149 dollars, against 1.3131 dollars on Thursday, 154.45 yen (153.85), 0.6813 pounds (0.6809) and 1.6123 Swiss francs (1.6125).

The dollar stood at 117.48 yen (117.14) and 1.2274 Swiss francs (1.2275). The pound was being traded at $1.9327 (1.9282).—AFP
