Jewellery designing

LAHORE, March 8: US Consulate Principal Officer Brian Hunt has said jewellery design and innovation is an area where women can excel.

He was speaking at an International Women’s Day meeting held at the Jewellery Studio of the Beaconhouse National University and attended by the students and faculty from the academia consortium comprising the National College of Arts, Punjab University’s College of Arts and Design and the Pakistan School of Fashion Design. The event was organised to demonstrate solidarity with women and to showcase the ongoing efforts to update and popularise modern jewellery design. —Reporter
