KARACHI, March 7: Students at the fourth provincial students’ convention on Wednesday stressed the need for holding dialogue to resolve conflicts across the world instead of imposing wars.

During the second day of the three-day convention, organised by the Dow University of Health Sciences on its premises, 40 out of 90 students representing 31 educational institutions from across the province delivered speeches on the given topics.

Most of the students spoke about world peace and role of Muslims.

The remaining students will deliver their speeches during the morning session on the third day of the programme. Names of winners, runners’ ups and best 21 will be announced on Thursday followed by a prize distribution ceremony, who will participate in Islamabad Convention.

Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad will be chief guest at the concluding session.—Staff Reporter
