KARACHI, Feb 22: The KWSB has appealed to the citizens and health workers of the city’s town councils not to throw offal in to manholes as it results into choking of sewerage lines and gutters.
The KWSB’s chief engineer (sewerage), Suleman Chandio, said that throwing offal rendered the sewerage system ineffective, creating unhygienic conditions and damaging roads and streets. Therefore people should act more responsibly.
