Zeeshan to lead NBP squad

KARACHI, March 6: Olympian Zeeshan Ashraf was named on Tuesday to lead the National Bank of Pakistan’s (NBP) squad in the 54th National hockey championship.

Olympian Adnan Maqsood will be Zeeshan’s deputy.

The squad will depart for Quetta on Thursday to feature in departmental qualifying rounds.

Shabbir Hussain and Fasih-ur-Rehman (goalkeepers); Imran Ali Warsi, Aamir Saeed, Asim Khan, Usman Tariq, Zahid Hameed, Mohammad Nadeem, Mohammad Anis, Tariq Aziz, Akhtar Ali, Asif Ahmed Khan, Owais Moeed, Naeem Akbar, Salim, Ishrat.
